MAYOR’S PROFILE
HON. LEOPOLDO N. BATAOIL, a man who has been serving God, his country, and the people for the better part of his life- 33 years in the noble profession of arms, the military and police service; and nine years and counting as a public servant in the field of politics.
Better known as Lingkod ng Bayan among his constituents, this retired three-star Police General untiringly and always has his heart and mind with public service.
At the outset, he was a military man.
He is a proud member of PMA Magilas Class of 1976, who was sent to the frontline against lawless elements in the most critical and dangerous parts of the country.
Thereafter, he served his own province of Pangasinan as PNP Provincial Director and later as Regional Director of the Police Regional Office 1, where he again led his men with honor and pride for being “citizen-friendly and protectors of human rights.”
