Personal Life

Born in Fort Knox, Kentucky, Emayatzy Corinealdi is the daughter of Edward Corinealdi and Rosemarie Hilton. Her mother belongs to the African-American race from the city of Ohio while her father is a Panamanian.

Her parents raised her between U.S. and Germany as she was a part of a military family. Growing up, she studied at three different places. The first one was in New Jersey at the Actor’s Training Studio, the second one being the William Esper Studio and finally, the Playhouse West.
